Regular maintenance of BMS systems not only ensures best performance of the BMS system itself, but perhaps more importantly the performance of the plant and equipment it controls.  Regular maintenance should be planned, and actual systems performance should be checked against KPI’s in order to monitor system performance and make sure that the performance level is not deteriorating over time.

Maintenance also takes into account the upkeep of system records, technical drawings and any system updates that may be required from time to time.
